Costs of Services & Things We Help With

our goal is to offer affordable but quality training, in doing this training is only my part-time job so at this time client availability may be limited. Currently we do have opening for both in-person and virtual clients. 

All Clients

After doing a minimum of 2 sessions with LDT and following your training plan you able to purchase a program vest with us! Our program vests are made by Patience and Love with options for just in training dogs, service dogs in training, and fully trained service dogs. When you eligable for this you will be sent the program code to purchase if you would like to. Program vest designs can be seen below. 

Group Classes

group classes are hosted on an as requested and needed basis. it also depends on my current availability. usually group classes will cost anywhere from $30-$50 for a 6 week class that meets weekly. 

Individual Session Costs

currently our cost is as follows:

Psychiatric Service Dog Task Training

Medical Alert Task Training

Medical Alert Service Dogs help with a large variety of conditions like but not limited to Diabetes, Debilitating Allergies, Seizures, and POTS. A Medical Alert Dog's job is alerting BEFORE an episode happens or before it gets too bad.

Medical Response Task Training

Medical Response Service Dogs response to a large variety of conditions like but not limited to Diabetes, Ehlers Danlos Syndrome, Chronic Pain, Seizures, and Asthma. These dogs respond to a current medical episode or preventing one.

Hearing Service Dogs can help with different levels of hearing loss or temporary hearing loss caused by a medical episode.

Non-Weight Baring Mobility Service Dog Task Training

Non-weight baring mobility tasks allow for a handler to have independence with mobility impairments. These types of tasks can also be trained to any service dog unlike weight baring tasks that require a lot of time to properly train and dogs must be a specific size.

Tasks We Teach:

~ Item Retrieval

~ Bring Mobility Aid (ex. crunches, wheelchair etc.)

~Bring meds or a drink

~ Carrying Items

~ Press elevator buttons

~ Press door buttons

~ Turn off/on light

~ Leaning into handler to prevent falling

Weight Baring Mobility Service Dog Task Training

Weight baring mobility tasks allow for a handler to have independence with mobility impairments. These types of tasks can only be trained to dogs that are large enough to perform the tasks safely and have been cleared by your vet. When your vet is clearing your mobility dog, they may look at things like hips and elbows along with looking for any signs of arthritis. While early foundations can be taught at any age the steps that include handle work and the actual tasks will not usually be taught till 18-24 months. This allows for the dog's full maturity and growth plates to close.

Behavioral Modification

Behavioral modification isn't as scary as it sounds. It's simply modifying behaviors and training out unwanted behaviors. Please note Lavender Dog Training will not work with severe behavioral cases and will refer you to a trainer that works with more severe behavioral cases.

~ leash reactivity to dogs and people

for behavioral modification it's best to give as much detail as possible during your consultation so we can set your dog up for success. we will also assess your dog and ensure we feel comfortable working with your case.

Doggy Basics & Advanced Skills

The basic for a dog is setup for all different types of dog's pet dogs and working dogs alike can benefit from this type of training to be better companions in your day-to-day life. More advanced skills can also be more helpful for more active dogs, dogs that will leave home and go pet friendly places, or service dogs
